Mommy and Daddy got Andrew a swing for their porch. Andrew loves it... We think.

Andrew wakes up so happy in his pack-and-play. No crying at all. I guess because he can see us when he wakes up.






Andrew loves to stand so much! He can stand on his own leaning up against the couch.









He thinks this is big stuff. :-)
He just gets better every day. I know this is no new phenomenon to you who are already parents, but it is astounding to me.

Old(ish) videos

So.... When I got my iPad it wouldn't read the videos from my camera which made me real sad. Something about the format or something. So I have been taking videos with my mom's camera. Then, when I sync my pictures from my camera today, it reads the videos! Hooray! So here are some videos from my camera from the past few weeks:

This video I have to preamble a little bit. Andrew's daddy (and Andrew's grandfathers and uncles) keep telling me that Andrew is a boy and so I don't have to baby him. He needs to be tough. So while this looks like some pretty rough play for a 3 month old, Andrew clearly loves it. Please direct all accusations of bad parenting to my husband.

Haha! I debated on whether or not to put it on the blog but it was just too funny!

Today, Andrew thinks he might like to be a florist when he grows up.

Resting Up For The Big Night

Adam's Birthday Breakfast

We went to my mom and dad's for Adam's birthday this morning and Andrew was, of course, adorable. We tried out the rocking horse that Aunt Kathy brought him. (Thanks!) He looks like a little jockey. Thought I would throw these pictures up quickly, especially for Stefani and Chris, who are in Ohio saying goodbye to Chris' dad. We are praying for you guys!

Andrew is also starring in a prom photo shoot with Aunt Sara and Aunt Robin later today. I will post those pictures today also.

Andrew through Aunt Emily's Eyes

We love Aunt Emily so much! She is finally home for the summer! Except, wait, only for a few weeks. Loser. She is going to work for World Changers in Birmingham and Ontario starting Memorial Day weekend. I freely admit that I am very proud of her for being so awesome as to get selected, and then for being willing to go. So Christ-like. But most of the time I am just mad that I never get to see her.

Andrew feels the same. He soaking up all the Emily time he can get right now. She sent me some pictures she has taken of him over the last week and they were so cute I had to share them. You can tell the affection is mutual. :-)


This is BY FAR my favorite. Andrew loves this bandana Emily gave him. He grips it like a security blanket. A little way to remember his sweet aunt while she is away.










Aunt Emily's fingers are very tasty.

Happy Mother's Day!

I have to say that I wasn't particularly excited about Mother's Day. I just hadn't thought about it that much. But after experiencing it for the first time as a mother, I like it! Josh and Andrew made me (and all Andrew's grandmas) a very sweet painting using Andrew's feet.



Of course, Josh is working today. We went to my mom's for dinner and she had all the "grands" over, so we took some four-generation pictures.










Andrew also had a great time with Papa outside. Reminds him of camping.
