Anna Marie is a month!

Wow! How did that happen?

Anna is awake sometimes:








Ann and James came to visit and both the kids found James particularly comforting. Andrew sat with him to watch the whale scene of Nemo. It worries him.

We went for Andrew's follow up appointment after his January surgery. Dr Hooker said he looked great (which we knew) and she doesn't need to see us for six months! Then she helped Andrew pick out a sticker:

Whew! I think I am caught up on the stuff that happened before Anna. Pregnancy was hard to blog through this time around.

Sleeping Beauty

I realized today that 3/4 of my pictures of Anna so far are of her sleeping.



































She does sleep a lot. For the sake I bragging, I have to tell you that she is sleeping 6-8 hours at night. That's right. Hopefully I haven't jinxed it! :)

My Camera

I've been trying to keep my camera with me more this year.  Somewhere in the pregnancy haze I lost the will to take real pictures, something that doesn't come as naturally to me as it does to Josh.  Still, I got some fun shots this January:

 I wanted to document Anna sleeping in Mom's bassinet.  My grandmother (Marie) slept in this bassinet when she was a baby, as have most of her children and grandchildren.

Today we visited GrandNana and GrandPapa.  My mom and I were remembering one of Andrew's first visits to their house.  We put Anna in the same bread bowl.  She didn't feel like she needed to be awake for the photo shoot.  She may have been right.
