My new computer

Hooray!  I post this from my very own laptop, something I haven't had since college.  Until recently I have been able to meet all my technology needs on my phone.  I'm a pretty low maintenance girl.  But as I take on more responsibility in the children's ministry at church and in the photography business, I needed to work on an actual computer more often.  We have a computer at home, but during our "business hours" (read: when the kids are simultaneously sleeping) Josh is usually using it to edit something fantastic.  So, we finally bit the bullet, made the investment, and it is awesome.

One of the benefits of having my own computer is how much easier it is to get a hold of the pictures I take on my "real" camera. Another hooray!

A couple of days ago we visited Grandnana's house.  Andrew has favorite books he reads with Grandnana every time we are there.  I love it that many of them were my favorites: When You Give A Mouse A Cookie, Nurse Nancy, A Letter to Amy, good stuff.  But by far, his favorite is The Truck That Drove All Night.

Then Josh got my camera.  You have to love this hair.

Some stuff

Yeah, I can't even pretend I meant to keep up this blog these last few weeks. Not feeling guilty about it though. Even if I'm not documenting it here, I'm enjoying my life pretty well.



For my birthday Andrew picked out yarn and a book about how to knit dinosaurs. He knows me so well.

My Birthday Breakfast (Dinner)

Last year, in the middle of remodeling and 6 days away from moving in to our new house, all I wanted for my birthday was breakfast at Waffle House, the three of us together.






This year we made a tradition of it, only this year there were four of us.
