End of Summer

Off to help Daddy in the playroom!


Josh and I are so thankful for how blessed our kids are to have so many attentive aunts and uncles around.

Andrew loves the Veggie Tales movie Gideon: Tuba Warrior. It portrays the army of Gideon as armed with horns and flashlights. They fight a huge army with a pretty awesome drum and horn song.

We had a show at the PAC Place that had a giant wire rhino. Awesome!

Big in to sorting lately:

Dad and Andrew bond over airplanes. Dad has a new one for him to work on every time we come over.








Andrew and Papa have been trapping things that try to eat Papa's grapes. Their latest catch was a raccoon:

We took Andrew to the ultrasound. He was mainly interested in the heartbeat. Our tech was very sweet and played it for him several times. We were worried he would blab, but he gets it wrong half the time. The boy/girl concept is pretty abstract for him still.

And Sara brought the cutest hat ever! Don't worry, she had a boy hat ready too. Having sisters who knit is the best.

Street Dances 2013

Catch Up Day 4: Beach Trip

We drove down to Daytona after a street dance. We got in around 6am.


We went straight to the beach.


He was a little timid about the waves at first.

Having a giant sandbox to play in never did get old for this boy.

He wasn't nervous about the waves for long.

There was a pool at our condo.

He learned lots of cool pool tricks. He loved to jump off the side. We asked him over and over to tell us before he jumped. So he started yelling "Tell Me!" before he jumped.

We saw all kinds of interesting creatures, like Jellyfish





Sting rays and Owls at the Marine museum

And a lot of crustations that we didn't get pictures of.
The highlight of the week for me was the kite flying day.

It was a fantastic trip.
