We go to my mom and dad's house every thursday night to have dinner and play music. Tonight we went through all the pictures from camping (the topic of an upcoming, longer post). We took some super cute videos of the boy tonight and I couldn't wait to post them.
Andrew loves to listen to Papa's music. Daddy and Sara are working on a song Daddy wrote years ago. Sara decided she loved it and convinced him to work it up with her. Andrew wanted to sing too.
Andrew loves to stand. Papa loves to oblige. :-)

Andrew's First Easter
Andrew celebrated his first Easter today by going to church, out to eat with Nana and Papa, and then hanging out with Grandma and Grandpa. I had a cute sweater vest for him to wear, but Little Man is actually pretty little and he didn't fit into it this morning. He wore a sweet smocked outfit instead.
We took pictures both at the restaurant and at Grandma and Grandpa's. I will post the highlights, but check our shutterfly site for more. Also, I will post the pictures from camping this past week when I get them all from my mom.

Hands down the best thing I ever found in an Easter basket. :-)

Emily's New Blog
Emily has a blog! Thanks to Yours Truly. She has to blog every day to document her adventure as a World Changers Technician (or Tech-ninja) on Summer Staff. She's amazing. Watch and see, starting in May. (link in side bar)
Crawling...sort of
Andrew is getting cuter and cuter every day. He can do more all the time. Now he smiles at familiar faces, carries on a conversation, rolls from his stomach to his back, grabs at toys, can grab one hand with the other, and most recently: scooting! No joke. On his stomach he uses his feet to scoot forward. I can't decide if I am proud or terrified.
I tried to get it on video, but I wasn't too successful. You will have to trust me that it was much more impressive the moment before I pulled out the camera, as it always is.

Music Sunday
Andrew got dulcimer lessons today with Papa:
and then he played piano with me. He has no choice but to be a music genius. :-)

Meeting the Van Buskirks
Ann, James, Ian and Spencer came up this weekend for part of their spring break. They have had a great time with Andrew. Josh loves it because he felt this way about those boys when they were little.

Andrew thinks Ian is hilarious.

Spencer is also very sweet with him.

Napping.
Ian carried Andrew in the carrier on a walk on Main Street.

We love those boys. Miss you Xander!

Family Day
Since today was a work day and I had one swap day left, I opted to stay at home with my boys. Many of you know that Josh works 3 12 hour shifts a week: Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday. That schedule is great for keeping Andrew because he only has to stay away from home one day a week, but it isn't great for Josh and I getting to hang out together much. :-( Fortunately there are only 47 more days of school.
Anyway, today was a family day for us. We walked the lake since it was 75 degrees and Josh took about a thousand gorgeous pictures. Here are the highlights:

We thought we were all done taking pictures for the day but then Andrew got smile-y, so Josh broke out the camera again. Unfortunately for smile-capturing, Drew finds the camera very interesting.

Isn't he the sweetest?
More pictures on Shutterfly. :-)
