Josh and I got to go on a little mini vacation this week to Lake Logan. We took a kayak out on the lake, but we only had one paddle, so I got to knit. :)
When we got back we went to Darsey and Cody's for dinner. Andrew has taken up dancing. We had a wonderful time at the Smokey Mountain Folk Festival tonight. Andrew had all his aunts and uncles in one place.
When we go camping now our site looks like an ENO ad. Eric, Daddy, Sara and Josh all have hammocks and their various accessories.
We went hiking and saw a lot of butterflies.
Of course such encounters with nature can wear a guy out.
There's that sweet face.
This was our first camping trip with Eric, and Andrew thought he was great to have around.
Andrew helped Nana with the cooking.
There was a great creek in our site that Andrew really enjoyed.
Andrew and Adam practiced their harmonizing. Silly boys. It did rain almost every day, but even that was fun. We read a lot of books on Nana's bed in the rain.
We played frisbee:
There were lots of great rocks to shovel.
Life is pretty good when you have 8 adults around to entertain you.
