It drives my mom crazy, but Andrew eats with humongous bites. He gets especially enthusiastic about cantaloupe. He is getting great with fork though. Cheese!
Owen, Andrew's friend from the church nursery, has been teaching him about block-building. Up until now he has mostly been honing his knocking-down skills. Church is a really happy place for Andrew. He comes with me a little early while I get ready for my Sunday School kiddos. During that time he has become the mascot of the Children's department. Do you know what I see? A whole generation of adoring babysitters. Just for the record, I did not organize this circle.
We decided to have family night at Western this week since half our family is there now (Adam, Robin, Sara, And Eric). Momma brought the stuff for lasagna and we ate at Adam's apartment. It is perfect for him, but a little small for a 19-month-old. Andrew's favorite part was the bedroom door: Adam's bed sits almost right in the floor, which is perfect for Andrew. He ran up to it and immediately said "flop?" Baby translator: he says "two" during the countdown (the only number he can count. He misses one and three) and calls for "Eric" at the end.
We played in the sandbox today and he just looked so beautiful.
Of course he is very busy and the famous photographer was at church, so none of the pictures really show it just right.
Then we made popcorn.
Blurry, I know, but that grin is so sweet.
We were getting ready for bed and he said "Movie! Jump! Cheese!" so we made a movie of him jumping. Presenting Andrew's first cinematic production: Then Daddy came home. He makes everything seem exciting.
