Beach 2012: Day 4

Sorry about the delay. Trouble with my blogging app.
Marisa was a great buddy for Andrew on this day. They spent a lot of time fetching water from the ocean.

We also found the perfect shovel for him.

Andrew thinks everything is a horse or a truck to be ridden right now.

Josh and I keep talking about how interesting the sand is here. It is really fine and soupy and is perfect for dribble castles.

Andrew feels really strong when he throws the sand.

Andrew and Daddy work well together.

Beach 2012: Day 3

Since Andrew is sleeping in our room, I woke up to a friendly and persistent "Mama" at 5:00. AM. He wasn't ready to wake up either, really.

But he warmed up.

He went back to sleep for a mini nap

before we went on a boat ride for Father's Day.

How do you drive this thing?

We stopped at a little island along the way.

Still tired though.

Bonus! There were dogs at the rental place! :)

Just fooling around at the house:

Andrew was missing Grandma, so he and Marisa watched some videos from the blog.

Adam gave him a lesson in Angry Birds.

After Andrew goes to bed, us girls look like this:

Also today, we went crab spotting after dark. I tried to get a video of Doug the Crab Herder, but it was too dark. It was awesome, and we all survived :)

Beach 2012: Day 1 from Josh

Josh got a new camera on Friday, and he is loving it:

Beach 2012: day 1

We are at Sunset Beach with my mom's family this week! Yay! We have wifi here at the house, so I should be able to update the blog every day (just for you, Lisa) :)

We drove to Charlotte yesterday to cut our trip time in half, but 3 hours in the car is still a long time for a little boy:

He tried out Marisa's Barbie car. He doesn't really understand how to play with it.

Today we are here!

The waves are fun, and maybe a little scary.

The world is your sandbox, baby.

The screen porch is nice too.

A lot of his favorite people are here too.

Days 2-6 should be just as great :)
